Hello, let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Sue and I am the owner of Sue's Dog Walking Services. I have lived in Putney for the past 18 years now. I am married with a son and a Border Terrier bitch called Meg. I have loved animals since childhood, always bringing home one stray or another. Injured pigeons, lost dogs, stray cats. Often taking in unwanted pets such as a very ugly budgie or unwanted cats. Also a week old kitten found in a bin. My vet wanted to put her to sleep but I had to give her a chance. I woke to feed her every 3/4 hours both day and night. She grew into a lovely cat, not quite sure if she was human, cat or dog. We named her Bonnie as she truly was.

My first love has always been dogs, I pestered my Mother and Father until they got me my own dog at 9 years of age, a small black cross-breed called Lady. I was always very good with dogs and taught her many tricks. I also walked many of my neighbours dogs, along with my own over the years, as I enjoyed their company. To name but a few - two beautiful Rough Collies named Laddie and Mila, a Basset Hound called Bandit, a big soppy Great Dane called Jason and many lovable cross-breeds.

Before I had Meg I owned a lively English Springer Spaniel called Jake who was a problem dog that was given to me by a family member who could not control him. The main problem was obedience training and lack of exercise. When I took him on we went to dog training and I walked him three times a day in the local park, I soon had him under control.

I have worked in an office environment in the past. When my current role was made redundant I decided that it was time to do something that I always enjoyed doing - walking dogs. I was already paying a walker to take out Meg on the days I worked and I didn't want to work full time and leave Meg at home on her own all day. Thats when I decided on professional dog walking as both Meg and I love walking in the park with other dogs. For the past 4 years I have also walked my neighbour's dog Becky as often as I can. I do this purely for pleasure and do not take any payment as I walked Becky before I had Meg. They really enjoy each others company as I do, and are both very sociable as you can see below.
